Default Help unconfuse me

Got an 06 C230 sport with stggered rims and I finally got my rims picked out, Mandrus Regenmeister18x8.5 ET32 PCD 5x112 on the front and 9.5 18x9.5 ET35PCD5 5x112 in the rear.
This is where it gets confusing.....
One dealer tells me he'll put Ferderal SS595's on it, 225x40 on the front, 255x40 on the rear. Another tells me that to match a close as possible the OEM config and give me a very close match in handling, milage and guarantees a direct fit (the other says "no prob" on the fitment) he'll put on Nexen N3000 low profile Ultra High Performance tires225/40ZR18's on the front and 255/35ZR18's on the back.

First off, which tire is consideredthe better tire? It's about all I can afford for now and second, why does one recommend 40's for the rear and the other 35's or does it really make a difference? I want to keep everythig as close to OEM performance as possible, for instance revolutions per mile, etc etc, that I current have as well as retain as much of the present milage that I'm currently getting. One other thing is the dealer who has the Federall SS595's is local while the other is "rims and tires" online. Both are very close to each other even though shipping becomes a factor but I'm sure I'll be paying for the shipping with the local source. The local dealer does standard balancing whereas the online dealer also balances but states the following:

"We also "road test" your tires & wheels on our balancer which simulates your cars weight on the tire to detect any problems in the tire or wheel before you put it on your car."

the local dealer does not. the price difference is about $100.00.
Ok so there you have it and I sincerely apologize for the long winded post. Hopefully you guys can shed some light on this. Thanks and God Bless![]

Default RE: Help unconfuse me

235/40R18 for front and 265/35R18 for rear are recommended.
