help with motor mount install

how do you reach the top bolts in a 2000 230k on the motor mounts? I'd appreciate any help before i start removing unnecessary parts. thanks

should be 16 mm bolts, the best way to reach is from under the car, a ratcheting wrench or 16 mm shallow socket but might be too tall and hit exhaust manifold.

I am also going to change the mounts on my 98 c280.Is it sort of the same as a c230or is it more difficult?

98 c 280 very easy to do. the same way from bottom. breaking the bolt at the top is a bit of a bitch. not alot of room above the motor mount sometimes depending on motor.
