Default Help! Harman Amp out and need to replace

Would anyone have any suggestions on where to get a replacement (model 7019 Harman Becker) besides the dealer? I took my 2005 c240 wagon to the dealer and they said it is bad (out of warranty) and needs to be replaced. They want $1800 for a replacement (ouch!). Just to to be sure, I checked the appropriate fuses and they are good. The interesting part is the radio appears on (and is not muted), but will not produce sound. There are CDs in the glove box CD changer, but the radio display says, "NO CD" when you select the CD changer. The dealer says that the amp was wet (this is strange) as it suspends on the wall of the rear fender well and shows no signs of moister. Either way, I'm willing to try a new amp. If anyone has any advice, it is much welcomed!

Default Update -fixed by Mercedes

For anyone who might have had this problem, Mercedes did replace the amp! I did not expect the dealership to, but they did. Very nice.

Default 2005 C320 amp toast

I know it was a couple years ago, if warranty was out, how did you get them to replace it?
