Can anyone suggest some help:
98' C230 /83K miles/4 cyl. Makes strange noise when turning left slowly or when driving down open road about 65 MPH. Sound like vibration (none felt) from right front side, kind of like when you run over the road shoulder bumps. Especially noticed on open road when you go over a road low spot (car gets light on suspension for a moment) New tires, new bushings, New front struts, Front brake pads, etc. Mechanic is scratching head and I'm over it. Noise is getting worse and almost heard all the time when driving car. Car was hit and damaged in RF prior to my purchase. Could this be maybe motor mounts (wild guess) ANY SUGGESTIONS OUT THERE IN MB LAND? Thanks!...............

Probably the frame is bent someplace due to accident, and is rubbing on something, you said damaged in RF, how badly damaged, have a good body shop check the frame to see if straight.

I had a similar noise it sounds like on my 97 C230. I took it in and they said it was some loose insulation around the transmission housing that was hanging down and rubbing on the driveshaft, the noise got louder up to about 70mph then went away, could be a cheap fix, just an idea.
