Growling sound when car is in reverse

Growling sound when car is in reverse
My 2006 C230 makes a growling sound when I drive the car in reverse after the car has been sitting for a while (in the morning, after work). Any ideas. The dealer could not duplicate the problem but I know the sound/problem is there. Thanks.
