folding side mirror C180

How can I fold side mirrors manually on a C class kompressor 180. I already tried but it is very stiff and I am afraid of breaking it. It has no automatic folding. Can it be folded manually? How is it done?

First of all, make sure that your car came with a foldable side mirror.
There are C180s where the side mirror is not foldable!

If you don't have the electric switch for these inside the cabin, you don't have mirror that are meant to be folded. They will be spring loaded to help cushion impacts but they cannot be folded at will.
