Fluttering Sound while on Highway
My emergency brake light has been coming on for no reason. Occasionally when it does, and I know the brake is not on- I have picked up a "fluttering noise" from under the car when I am on the highway.
It sounds like one is dragging a piece of cardboard under the car but this is not the case. It has happened three times at speeds from 50-70mph. At the higher speeds I have slowed down and after a mile or so it went away. At the lower speeds I was able to pull off the road and I shutdown and restarted and the noise disappeared. The last time this occurred my brake light came on for no reason before the noise began.
So I wonder if there is any connection or are there two separate problems.??
