Anyone know why my C200 1997:</P>


The flashing red light for the 'car alarm/central lockingset' ( fitted in the rear view mirror) starts flashing again when I start the engine? It keeps flashing for around 3-4minutes then goes off? It just started up one day for no reason. Sometimes it just stays on.</P>


In the summer I could stand it but in the dark days of winter it is driving me nuts!? </P>


Can anyone help?</P>

 

time to take a trip to your local mercedes dealer and get the codes read. It's trying to tell you there's a problem...could be a number of things but the more common failures are door switches and the hood switch.
