Have a 2007 MB C230 with a bad balance shaft on the 2.5L M272 engine. Looking to swap with an 2009 SLK350 3.5L M272 engine. Given they are both the M272 engine, the 3.5L should fit not problem. Do I need to do an update to the ECM? My understanding is I use the ECM from the original 2.5L.

 

I'm writin and hoping you would know the answer so did u do it?? and what do u think a swap with c350 engine??
