I have the same problem with the MB owner. I have 2000 Model C-280. The engine stall when ever it wants to. At first I took it to the shop for diagnosis but can't duplicate the problem 2 weeks later I decided to have the spark plug replace since I got 167K miles already and never have them replace nor tune up and they diagnose the cause of the problem. It was the fuel pump relay taht seats beside the battery at the trunk and replaced it (Jan.16,2012) Last Sunday after attending Memorial service in our way to the reception (Mar.4,2012) when I got to the Traffic light and at full stop I was okay but when I was about to move....the engine stall...put in park and start did not work and tried again and it started right away. What could be the problem after replacing the Fuel pump relay?
