Hello , I have a 1999 C230 Kompressor , Recently i brought my car to get some body work done, I recieved a call from the body shop and they stated my car will no longer start. I figured it wasnt a big problem ,So i towed the car back to my house figuring the started was faulted so i repalced that.
MY Problems are confusing when I turn the key on to the start position i get a click but wont start the car. Then i turn the key to off and then back on it wont click .I have to turn the key back and forth and every so often I will get the click . I funny thing is when I disconnect the battery It turns over and then it stops ... almost like it about to work I get a rotation or two out of the motor then it fails ... Does anyone have any suggestions? oh almost forgot i traced the cable to the ECU and it getting power .
