Door release lever
Greetings all,
I have a small but annoying problem with the lever for the driver side door.
Upon opening, the lever (it is the silver pull jobby) will not snap back to its normal, position and is a bit wobbly. Is there a quick fix?, or does tis entail removing the door panel, and if so, how?
Any thoughts?

RE: Door release lever
You can try pulling the cable housing taught in the metal grippers of the air bag support. To do this you need to partialy remove inner door panel. step 1 use a puddy knife to lift away the bottom there are several plastic retaining clips that release by levering the panel away with a 2-4" wide puddy knife. Step 2 there are two torks screws one behind the plastic SRS badge and one behind a plastic plug. Step three while pulling away the lower door panel look up under the panel for the cable housing (Black) that goes from the inner door handle to the lock mechanism, pull the cable towards the lock mech to remove any slack then reverse steps to re-assemble, Be sure to make sure the plastic retaining trees are lined up before you smack them into their respective holes.
Hope this helps.
