does my C320 Avante Garde 2001 have an optic cable running to the boot?

Default does my C320 Avante Garde 2001 have an optic cable running to the boot?
My Father seems to think there's an optic cable running to the boot to supply a potential cd changer. Is he correct? I can't seem to find it.

your cars changer will be in the glove box and the harness and fiber optics are buried in the console by the radio. have to remove the radio and ashtray and climate control to find the harness
