Default Clk220 diesel won't rev at all

This is my first post and would like to thank you all in advance.

I have a 2005 clk220 diesel. The turbo failed so I replaced it with a cartridge.
After replacement I found the car would not rev. Only slight acceleration then it would cut out. After some investigation I found the wastgate was fully closed when running. So I disconnected the wastegate selonoid and manually moved it to find it now revved. So I put the problem to the actuator. Just had this reconditioned and now to my disappointment is the same. So frustrated.

Has anyone any suggestions/ideas where to go now.

Hello Gareth and welcome to the forum! Are you able to pull any codes off the DTC?

Sorry for delay. Been playing today and have kinda made progress. I have disconnected the wiring off charge pressure sensor. As soon as I did this I noticed a difference in engine tone. The actuator moved to a more central position. It revved. Feeling relieved I went for road test. No boost and reduced power. Could this sensor be faulty? The codes found was 1636 and 0105. To add the coolent level warning is and has for some time being displayed.
