Can someone help me please? I removed the CD unit from the glovebox to free a jammed CD. I managed to get the disc back into the cassette and remove it from the unit. However, I then could not get the unit to sync with the radio. While fiddling with the power switch to the CD unit the radio went dead and there is also no power the CD unit either. I checked the radio fuse under the bonnet and it is fine. I now think I may have blown the fuse on the back of the radio. The car is a 2004 CLK 240 Cabriolet (W209). As there are no screws or slots visible on the radio I assume I have to remove the metal trim covering the radio but am not sure how to do this. Any suggestions?
