How do I open my '95 C220 Cigarette Lighter console? Do I need to access from the CD/Cassette Player ie. remove using special tool & access.

Can any pls help me help me with the attach wiring for cigarette Lighter. There are 4 wires & they had melted/burned badly. Where does the wiring run, I need to replace (what part Number?)

I now have a part number 202 8200951 , does this power the lighter plus the overhead lamp? Or power other instrumentations? It run behind the dash board.

I need to remove the dash board to replace, hopefully no more burnt wirings.

Can any 1 advice how to remove the W202 '04 Dash Board.

Very much appreciated.

I'm up to here in pic. Howdo I remove the whole dash. Already remove the bolts on each end of side vent, 2 bolt on top vent near front window shield. Removed the 2 bolt on passenger beneath dash. Also seperated the joint near ashtray. Some 1 mention it may be the black tubingsparticularly the top vent.

Do I turn clockwise or anticlockwise to remove the steering wheel centre bolts?
