Default Carsitting a 2004 C240 4MATIC

My cousin and his soon to be fiance are leaving for vacation(Going to propose to her in Mexico) and left me his 2004 C240 4Matic Black on Black, with no lie 22,000 miles on it. My question is that he has told me about a leaky sunroof he has had when it rains realy hard out and he says the water leaks into the interior lights that are near the sunroof button. He would like to know how it can be fixed? Also can I fix it for him before he comes back in a week?

make sure when the roof closes that it is closing fully , flush with the roof. could be water drains in the sunroof clogged up a bit and that could cause water to back up into the headliner.

I'd have to agree with that. Check the DRAINS. You will see drain holes where the water escapes.
You might be able to blow them out with air or maybe use something flexible to unblock whatever
might be in there. This is a typical fix for a leaky sunroof.

Where exactly are the " Drains" located now?

open the roof, front right and front left. just below the wind deflector arms. might need a light to see in there. right in the front corners of the sunroof.

So to day he got back from Mexico to pick up his car. After putting about 50 miles on it during the week I must say that I think that the C240 is an amazing car. I use to think my C280 was far better but I was way way wrong. I am going to post a survey on what people think is the best C Class. Please put you input in.
