Post C300 Tire Pressure

I have a 2008 C300. I keep tires rotated and make sure pressure is what is recommended on the door panel. This last time the Tire guy inflated the front to 32 instead of the recommended 28. Why does Mercedes recommend different pressures and is it a problem if the front is same as back?

Thanks for your reply - I should have been more specific. I have the luxury package - no sport stuff. Tires are exactly the same size all around.

if you have the sport trim its bc the back tires are wider than the front tires. that explains the difference in the recommended tire pressures. that is the tire pressures that mb recommends for performance and best tire wear in average conditions.
