C240 Ride Height
Hi all,
I am a new member so I apologize for what i am sure is a redundant topic. I like my new C240 sedan however I noticed it seems to have a higher stancethan the sport model, can anyone tell me what the difference is?? I have read that it can be resolved by adding H R spring cups and i believe new springs, if this is true what will it do to, ---
1 The current ride of the car
2The stance? (how much will it lower the car)
3 My Wallet: What kind of price tag do the parts + instalation carry??
Thanks for taking the time to read my post, I look forward to any advice and insight you can give me.
Rick

RE: C240 Ride Height
I have a 240 also. It has the sport package but as far as I can tell, there is no difference in ride height. I am planning on installing H&R springs I have sitting in the garage shortly. I understand that will give about a 1.2 inch drop. I have the 3 dot pads in the rear and I am going to instal 4-dot pads when I install the springs to raise the rear relative to the front. right now, the rear fender is about 1 inch higher than the front. I found the H&R springs on craigslist for $145. I also have installed the C32 AMG sway bars which made a nice improvement to the handling. I paid $125 for those used.
