Hi all. New here. New to Mercedes, too.

I'm collecting a 1998 August, C240 Esprit next week, 53000 miles, from a UK Merc dealer. 5 speed auto

Would anyone like to post a "shortlist" of things to watch out for/be careful of, whether its about the model, dealers, etc etc... to help reduce my learning curve.

I'm not exactly young, had many a car including BMW, and I have to say this is the 1st Merc I've ever driven and it was an absoute "rush" of satisfaction, it just felt right!

hey, i didnt even know they made a c240 so im learning everyday to. what engine configuration is that?
i only 2 months into merc ownership and loving it to. they are cool cars i hope u enjoy yours.
theres a few little quirks with them but im no expert, in general tho, their better than any other car. good luck :-)
