C230 Suspension Question
I have a C230 Kompressor Special Edition (with Sport Suspension) and have 120K miles on it. I notice a creaking noise when I press down on the front corners when it is hot outside. I have repaced the lower control arm bushings as they needed replacement. My question is this.
I checked with Koni and they have a shock and spring kit, only it isn't supposed to work with the Sport Suspension. I am wondering if I put the shims for the springs for a C230 w/o the Sport Package to raise it up slightly so I don't rub the tires against the wheel well. The Koni kit is much less expensive than purchasing the shocks and springs separately. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

RE: C230 Suspension Question
It is only about $150 more for progressive springs AND adjustable shocks than replacing the worn shocks with OEM. Plus Speedtunning USA has the ECU and Pulley for $1,000 for 250 hp....
The car is pretty much perfect shape and the engine will easily last a long time.
