C230 Staggerd Tires

RE: C230 Staggerd Tires
Don't know if you can put same size tires on all rims if you have staggered rims but if you have same rims all around. No problem.
As for the Sumitomo tires..........I've had two sets on my Volvo X/C and they not only wear like iron, they ride comfortable and have great traction. The price is right too.
These are the all seasons of course. Don't know about other Sumitomo tires.

The offset may be different on the wheels. This is probably not a viable solution. Also the wheel widths are different so even if you found tires that could fit on a 17x8 and 17x8.5 wheel the overall diameter would be a bit different.
If you can afford a new Mercedes you can probably afford to put tires on it, even if they wear out prematurely.

RE: C230 Staggerd Tires
Hey Guys Thanks for the info, and Eric yes I am with you on the idea if I can afford a new Benz then I can afford the tires. I guess I am the guy that had a clutch on my 1983 280z go for 220,000 miles before it blew up. I asked a mechanic friend how long the average clutch lasts, he said about 30,000. I told him mine went 220k! He said how do you drive and I said perfectly. I guess I am wondering how to stretch everything to the limit.
Thanks Again for everyones help!
