Hey guys. From everything I've read, I have unfortunately bought a 2003 C230 yesterday with 73k miles and got a CEL this morning when I started it. The previous owner (original owner) told me the car was always serviced at the dealer and he always did the recommended maintenance. I went to the dealership and got several sets of service records for the car but one thing I noticed is that he ignored the most recent CEL that he had happen to him. The dealer told me the code that it threw most likely meant the cylinder head carbon build up (which I now know can be an extremely costly ordeal). I've driven the car half a dozen times since buying it and the light has only come on once. Should I expect it to happen more frequently or will it be a once in a while thing? At this point, I'm putting it up for sale as soon as I get the title for it.
