Default Wire Arc Issue C230

I have had the same problem and found when I removed the wire/plug cover on the car the problem went away completely and when cover back on problem back. Found a burn hole on cover where the plug wire was arcing to the cover causing the miss fire/hesitation. The wires were in perfect condition. Wrapped with electrical tape and problem fixed. This may help others with this issue. Car runs perfectly now. Easy to diagnose, just remove the cover and run the car. Hopefully this will help people from replacing various sensors and MAF to save some money. Love the C230K

I have a 2006 C230 and i have been wondering the same thing. Mine is very sluggish. You push the gas hard and it takes a minute for it to go. It does it all the time. I bought this car in feb. and it has done it all the time. Sometimes i think i should have bought the BMW we was looking at instead. Now the check eng light comes on all the time. The dealer said it is the evap system and just drive it and it will go off. The door hadle broke on pass. side. Now also you start the car and the gauges dont work and the esp light comes on. If you turn the car off and back on it will work.
Thank for any info.
