So after speaking to 2 service advisers at Mercedes the first guy said its estimate at 800 for the control unit. Earlier I spoke to another adviser and she said the control unit can be 1800 to 1900.
I guess I won't know til Monday but I'll fill you guys in with the total cost and resolution for it.
Thanks again for sharing your knowledge!

Update:
I got a call from Mercedes and at first I got quoted for 2250 to replace the valve body. I said is it possible to just switch the control unit on the transmission.
A few hours I get a call and its going to be 1650 to replace the control unit and a few cables and I get a transmission flush and a filter change. He explain the mechanic was hesitate to just offer the control unit since it was looked at already and they thought i had someone else attempt to change the control unit. They are going to drop the price by 10% for all this work..
I'll get my car back tomorrow and I'll fill in the rest tomorrow.

Update:
First off thanks for the great advice on pin pointing the issue. They swapped out the VGS control unit, gasket, tubes, and pipes.
Luckily it was still under the emission warranty and I didn't have to pay for parts or service. So instead of paying $1600 to $2200 I paid $0. The service tech ran something on it and they found out it was still under this emission warranty. I never heard of the emission warranty but i'm glad its there for me to take advantage of.
I never really paid attention to my rpm but i notice when im going 60mph its at 2 1/5 rpm. Not sure if this is normal but its ran smooth going home.
