I have a 2003 C320. The air conditioning has a dot-matrix display. One day when I started the car, the A/C display was a little screwed up. There are some pixels lighting up permanently erroneously. Other than seeing the extra lighted up pixels (which is very annoying), everything works fine.

Is there a way to "reset" the display? Do I have to get the display replaced?

Sorry to say but you will need a new unit.

 

Thanks. I was hoping it's because of the cold weather and that it may fix itself when the weather is warming up again.
