Thinking of upgrading, but not sure which components exactly. If anyone knows which aftermarket speakers sound good in the C-Class, hit me up. Should I change that head unit or keep the MB radio. Im gonna throw in 2 12" Infinity 2200w subs and a Rockford Fosgate 1200w amp. Any suggestions??

I was about to put a sub in my C280 and it was a Alpine Type R with 500 watt RMS and 1,500 watt peak. I was gunna pair it with a 2 channel 1000 watt Interfire amp. Total it would have cost $700. Two of these subs would sound insane in a c-class! JL audio subs are pretty good to.

 

you guys a putting audio with too much power on your cabin.

with half the volume, it will rearrange your internal organs to different positions.

Some guy I know who is into BMWs told me that a problem with putting subs in any BMW or Benz sedan is that the trunks in these cars are sealed off with a different type of material than any other car, and it traps a lot of the sound in the trunk, not sounding as good as it should. Is this really the case?? And if so, is it even worth it putting a system in it?

I had a 2001 BMW 330i. I had two Fosgate P3's rated 500w RMS each with Fosgate amp p8002 and Alpine HU with Infinity Kappa
speakers for highs.. DAMM did it sound great.

Because the Benz and Bimmers are insulated so well...it cuts the vibration on the outside and acually cleans the sound more. I would definately recommend upgrading with no worries. Its basically like adding Dynomat to a normal car...

What am I doing on this Forum...well last week I traded it in for a 2006 Benz C350 Sport...7spd auto..Damm I love this car!

I'll like to add more power but can't find a lot of mods..anyone knows
