Bushings
Ok Folks,
Here is something I learned over the past week.
1. A company called Energy Suspension makes Polyethelene bushings in a RED and a BLACK compound. The BLACK ones are better. They also make some sizes in greasable versions for sway bars and such.
2. I replaced the original RED bushings that came with my Eibach sway bars as the bushings were squeaking.
3. Unfortunately, the brackets have to be slightly bent, but after 2 hours, they both fit.
I HIGHLY recommend using these BLACK bushings as they provide a nicer ride and are supposed to last a lot longer. Just be aware of the Universal Bracket and it might need to be bent into position.
They make a variety of bushings for other than sway bars.
Also, use their Teflon grease. :-)
I hope this helps.
