I have a C230 Kompressor. The light came on two nights ago. It appears to come on most of the time when I apply brakes and replaces whatever display is in the dash, but not every time. Two questions
Is this an early warning and if not how much pad is left when the senor trips. I'm hoping to take care of this week-end but have to fit into the other 50+ things I need to do and may need to put off a week. The cars stops fine, not noises so I assume I'm OK but.

OK, I got question one on my own, its been raining here in Las Vegas all week, apparently, the sensor does not like being wet and would flash up each time I tapped the brakes. While the rain has moved off so that is no longer an issue. I only need to know about when the sensor is set to trip, how much brake pad is left?
