i recently bought a 2005 c230 kompressor sedan im looking for a little bit more power and a better sounding exhaust system. any recommendations?

 

I think what you have there is about the optimal you'll get. There is very little power left that can be squeezed out of that 1.8L. For the amount it would cost, you'd be better off getting a C350 - IMHO!

 

Thanks for all the replies. I was thinking about Kleemann's headers that claims to give an additional 25 HP. A pulley kit from Kleemann should help as well. But, I'm still debating between the two options. What do you guys think? Oh, by the way, let me introduce myself. I'm 32 yrs. old from Albuquerque, NM. I own a 2005 C230 sedan, alabaster white, sunroof package, auto-transmission, cd/navigation system, automatic seats, xenon head light, black interior, K&N air filter, custom brabus lock pins, brabus MB VI staggered wheels (18"), and Upsolute reprogrammed ECU. Oh, and it's been de-labelled. Which brings me to another question. I was thinking about purchasing the Brabus emblems package, even though I don't have anything brabus under the hood and am planning to put Kleemann parts under the hood. I just like the way the brabus emblem package looks over the Kleemann. Is this just a personal taste thing or is it just pure stupidity? Let me know what you think. Thanks.

I would stay away from the Brabus emblems. That seems the equivalent of putting M3 badges on a non M BMW?

Brabus of North America installs emblems and stickers even if you don't purchase engine upgrades.

Brabus of North America sells brabus emblems? How about valve cover for the 1.8L, do they sell that as well? One more thing, do they sell brabus illuminated shift ***** for a 2005 C230 Kompressor? Thanks.
