I just had my windshield replace Wednesday(cracked),It started raining that evening. My wipers would not come on Automatically (I put the wipers on the first setting as per instructions in manual). Never had a problem before, Everything is fine manually. The headlights came on automatically as they had always done before.. does something have to be reset or should I just go back to the Dealer. thanks in advance Breas2

The auto sensor apears to be working when you use a lot of water on the windshield. I turned my waterhose on the windshield last night and the wipers came on auto. I wonder if there is an adjustment to the sensor? Thanks Breas2

I’m also trying to find out if it’s possible to adjust sensor sensitivity by StarDas or that’s mechanical issue. Mine turns wipers to often for my liking. Let me know if you solve a problem.

I don't know what happened to sensor setting, it was raining sunday morning and they came on with just a little rain on replaced windshield. I am assuming they are alright now, I will watch it and if there remains a problem, I will take to mercedes dealer and find out just what the problem is and get back to you... Breas2

Hello, my wipers are getting stuck to the windshield in the middle of the wiping cycle. When it rains, they come on automatically but they are getting stuck. I have to turn them off then turn them back on to work. sometimes, they will not go off or they will go off and not come back on. Please help. I have a S430. thanks
