It started a few weeks ago and sounded like it was going to stall when i was in idle (It is an trip tonic?).
then yesterday i could put my foot to the floor and it would only go around 30kms for around 30seconds and then it would accelerate. The revs were getting really high before changing gears and as my car is both manual and auto (triptonic) i tried to change the gears myself but hat did nothing. I tried putting it in park and then neutral but didn't really help. i turned the engine off and then on and then the car wouldn't even go when i put my foot to the floor ont he accelorator. I finally left it off for 5 mins and turned it on and it worked, but the engine light came on. I drove it around the corner home but still didn't drive well or the the speed limit as it was slow and felt like it was going to stall.
What could this be.
