www.getcoolparts.com .... AC condenser delivered nextday $211.45 --- R134a- 3 - 12oz cans $12.00 and that was that. Dealer price for the repair $1000.00 parts and 5hr labor at $125.00 . Do the math..
It took me 2hr with a 10mm and 5/16th socket and 2 adjustable wrenches a borrowed AC vacuum pump and some ac gauges from a friend. www.getcoolparts.com check it out

Yes, I use getcoolparts. myself. There prices are cheap. Some of there parts are not OEM, but good quality. Next to them www.mercedesshop.com has good pricing also.
But as will all on line parts stores, I find some parts are dealer only. One thing I will say to favor of mercedesshop.com. Phil Rheindarht will go over the top to get a part not listed. He searched out a part for a friend of my who owns a 81 300SL. No one had, it took Phil a couple of weeks but he found it. he does go the extra mile.
I recently bought trunk weather stripping for my 450SLC, at coolparts and it is good quality, and a lot cheaper then most other online suppliers, plus free shipping. However I have't been able to figure out on to mount it.SLEEPWALKER, can you help me on this one? The orginial one was cut in order to get in on? Why I don't know, as all you need to door is pass it over the trunk lid. But I have seen two or three different photo's and each had a different way of mounting it??????
