99 C280 Powerseat relay
Sleepwalker or someone....could you bring up a diagram on where the relay is for power seat?
I need to see the diagram and also need the part number.
At any given time, all powerseat functions will work or not work. I have been having this problem for a while.
Usually before I crank the starter, power seats will move, as soon as the power was diverted to the starter and cut off to the radio and such, power seat will die. And never come back until half an hour on the road.
I had someone hold on to the switches, and I pulled and shook the wires.....no difference.
Find me the relay please!!

F4 is the fuse box located in the trunk of your car.
Just forward of that relay (under the trunk lining) you'll find the Convenience Relay Module (K24) see pic. below. Check that out ...
Hopefully this helps ....

Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.
I have successfully located K-24. It is under the hard plastic cover that is under the carpet cover.
Me, being cheap and being an Engineer.....took the relay out and opened the case.
After that I removed the copper slap that has the contact points, and cleaned the points with sand-paper. I also scratched off the oxidation off the contact points on the coil side. Wiped all clean with alcohol. Sprayed WD-40 as final touch.
Put everything back in. Now the seats are moving at any given time upon command from the switch.
Again, Thank You SL600! I also thank wizard and a few good folks who had previously answered this question.

It's okay. I won't laugh at you for riding your bicycle with a guitar and a grill.
I like squid, but aren't those huge ones tough? Do you tenderize them somehow or do you have a secret recipe? Or, are they not tough?
