I just bought an 07 c230 last week. The low beam bulbs keep on coming out of place and I can't keep them in one spot. Is there a clip or something thats supposed to keep them in place?

 

either a metal clip that lays on the bulb when you install the bulb....or it twists into place. when i say twist i mean just a small twist but sometimes it requires alot of force to twist them in. the bulb needs to be in the socket perfectly or it doesnt seat well in the lamp and the clip wont clip or it wont twist in depending on the type you have. you might need a mirror to look inside and examine, they are tough to see. at times the metal clips fall off or pop out of place then they cant hold the bulb inplace.

 

I guess ill try twisting them. Whenever I hit a bump they come out of place and point up. I was just going to try and go to Mercedes or order whole new headlights, I want HIDs. Do you think they I can order them?

 

probably not. a headlight without zenon is like 800 bucks, there are 2 tabs on the sides of the bulb. they should be at 3 oclock and 9 oclock, depnding on your headlight setup you can get just the clips to secure the bulbs.
