I have a 2006 C230 Mine is very sluggish. You push the gas hard and it takes a minute for it to go. It does it all the time. I bought this car in feb. and it has done it all the time. Now the check eng light comes on all the time. The dealer said it is the evap system and just drive it and it will go off. It did once and now back on and will not go out. The door hadle broke on pass. side. Now also you start the car and the gauges dont work and the esp light comes on. If you turn the car off and back on it will work. Sometimes i think i should have bought the BMW we was looking at instead.

I took it and had the codes checked. They said it had a code p0017 and a code P0016 they said it was both a CPS but if that was it i don't think it would run unless MB runs a cam sensor also.

 

After checking on this more i found out that this is a common issue with this car. It needs to have the balance shafts replaced and the dealer wants $5500-6000 to fix it. That is crazy. This car only has 70k on it. seems way to soon to have issues like this. I also found out there is a class action lawsuit about this problem.
