Default 2006 C230- Transmission Problems ......

I just recently (w/in 3 weeks) purchased a new 2006 C230 sport sedan and I LOVE the car but am experiencing a few problems with the transmission. First week, the transmission started slipping every now and then- while driving around 40 mph the car would go into neutral even though it was in drive and in some instances the car was slow to move after coming to a complete stop as though the car was starting in 3rd or 4th gear. So after taking the car in, they replaced a part and every thing seems to alright so far. However, this morning I woke up only to find puddle of transmission fluid under the car. I am really bummed and a little concerned!

I just wanted to see if there are any other 2006 C230 model owners that are experiencing the same or similar problems.

Thanks!
Aimee

The car is new, and it is broken, and the dealer didn't fix it. I would insist a regional service executive be called in. The should replace the tranny and be done with it.

the leak happens only after they open the oil pan to get access to the valve body.

bring it back to them and let them fix it well.

since it's a new car, they must provide you with a replacement one till they have done a better job.

OMG I feel 4 U!

As it is under warranty you should not be out of pocket but it is the thought of what might go next.
If the stealer treats you right publish his name, if he tries to jerk you around, publish his name!

Good luck!
