I bought my c240 salvage so i have to install everithing again so im doing it with a friend, the hedlamps are new so check on ebay there are many choices, i will pust pictures aroun january when the car is finish but if you want I can show you how my coupe looks

 

oh yes please ..very interested in that, i am also considering a salvage C230 2004 (sweet water damage) but car is in perfect condition .. what is your advice on the bargaining in salvage cars?

i will not recomend a water flowd you will have problems in the future with all the electrical stuff like wires. i will recomend you a colition at list you know what happend to the car

are you talking about price anr repair costs? if you are. The car was 6,000 and repair is going to be around 3,000 and where I live this car is worth 23,000 so you make your numbers

 

the car has been driven regulary for a year /10k miles with no problems whatsoever after it was totaled (water never got inside the car), not sure if longer term effect may occur but i'm betting on NO, its retail is 22-23K offer price is 15-16k....thoughts?

 

its a good price if you are willing to buy it, always check all the gauges and light in the dash bord and check for rust under the car near the transmission and suspention.

 

where did u find the 2005 grille, all i find on Ebay are the ones with the big fancy star in the middle?

 

I had luck i found it on ebay and i bought it for 20$ very cheap

 

2005 grille has one less stripe than the previous ones , this is the only diff. right?
