Default 2005 c240 4matic oil change

Hey guys, does anyone know what the oil capacity is for 2005 c240 4matic? And also what type and brand do you recommend.

Mobil 1 full synthetic......0/40 or 10/30 should be fine for just about any climate. Costco has it in a six pack, other places do too. Buy your own filters online and save a bundle. I do mine myself (C230K) and it costs me 6 qts. and a ten dollar filter plus about 30 min. of my time. I'd rather do it myself anyway than have somebody screw it up. Don't know the capacity for your particular car, sorry. Mine is 5.8 qts but it's a 4 cyl. kompressor motor.
A 2005 with 160,000 miles on it now. Going strong so far. I just keep changing that oil and going to church a lot. :-)

Mercedes do well with synthetic. Alternatively, Castrol 5 or 10W/30 has a good history with their engines. Agree you should do the change yourself or by trusted mechanic. Oil change franchises will screw it up.
