Hi Im brand new here. Just bought my C230 yesterday. Im removing my aftermarket Pioneer Avic D2 from my corvette and want to install it in the new C230. Has anyone done this? Can anyone tell me what other parts I need and step by step direction on the install? Thanks for your help!

yes there are parts available for that year of car.....metra makes a kit model number 99-8711,70-9401 for harness, and 40-vw12 for antenna adapter that allows for standard din or double din after market deck into your car you will also will need a harness and antenna adapter for your car but these parts will cost less that 50 bucks. as far as install most bose systems can be blown threw and as far as the speed sence wire can most of the time in a benz be found behind the deck.

 

What do you meen the bose system can be blown through?
