It's been a long long time since I posted about 2 or 3 years ago. The 2003 C240 that was to be mine, became my wife's car. Hmmmmm.

Glad to come aboard again.

Last night the warning came on to the info center that the right low beam was out. Oh well, the car is almost 4 years old so that is probably normal.

I went to the dealer and picked up 2 bulbs as I might as well change both.

Nice easy install but no low beam. Hmmm, maybe a fuse. Spent the next half hour looking for a fuse chart in the owners manual. Uh Uh. It's in the fuse compartment near the light control ****.

Found the fuse in the engine compartment fuse box. Replaced both of those with the matching spare fuses in the handy tool kit.

No low beam?????????

Before I go to the dealer, would any of you have any idea where I should look for this problem. It is still under warrenty but such a hassle taking the car in.

Had similar probklems that turned out to be related to a faulty light cluster wire harness.
Dealership replaced it with no charge under warranty.

Well here is what the work order said. All warrenty so I got off lucky.

Re/Re Frt Sam and Headlight switch module test and found wiring pin 7 on conector 5 on Frt SAM to headlight switch repair wiring and re assemble all clear all codes. Codes were P2315 and B1009 B1076 and B1015 and more.

Whatever all that means
