2003-04 c230 sedan
The Mercedes c230 kompressor sedan has caught my eye
However I am warry of the car due to the well know expensive repair costs of any Mercedes. But I have also heard from many that Mercedes are extremely reliable cars, and do not need too much upkeep.
Has anyone heard anything about the c230's long term maintenance? or about Mercedes in general.
I know almost every car has atleast one general thing that goes wrong on them...does anyone know the c230's?
thanks!

RE: 2003-04 c230 sedan
I have an '05 with 66K on it now and so far, no problems. Just routine oil changes and a fuel filter at 65K I did myself.
Gets 26mpg in the city driving conservatively, and it CAN get 33mpg on the highway at steady speed around 65mph and no passing, hills, etc. That's on a good day. On a bad day, about 31 or so. Brakes and tires don't count as "maintenance" or reliability issues to me, so I didn't mention that. No engine stuff anyway. Hope this helps.
