2002 C320, no power to speakers or audio?
I have a 6 disc cd changer, and one disc got stuck so i took a butter knife to it to get it out because it worked before(big mistake). In effect i knocked out the sound, and the connection to the radio and the cd player and that in return caused my srs light to come on. No fuses are blown and i disconnected the ground cable in my battery for a couple hours to see if that would reset it, but to no avail it didnt work. Since money is tight right now im curious if there is anything i can do personally to get my radio and sound back working with out spending an arm and a leg?
Thanks for any suggestions
much appreciated

Radio Reset
Over the winter, I replaced one of the linkages to a stepper motor on the HVAC system which involved taking almost the whole dash apart and removal of the center console. To give myself more working room, I had removed the seats.
When I got it back together, I got the SRS light, it would go out on occasion. I ended up bringing the car to the dealer for repair and it turned out to be a back connector under the seat that is part of the SRS system. When I picked it up, the face plate of the radio would light up but no sound. I brought it back to the dealer and they had to reset it utilizing the STAR system computer interface.
Did you check fuses with a continuity tester?

The Shop i took it to said they checked out all the fuses and nothing appeared to be blown....i dont know about a continuity test....it worked fine before i put the knife under the 6 disc changer and i think i saw something spark. So i must have cut something. Is there a way to dismantle the 6 disc changer and pull it out to replace that wire perhaps? not sure what to do from here. Think i could take it to a car audio shop or do i really have to break down and take it to the Mercedes dealer? or any ideas on taking the cd player out....thanks for posting that tid bit of knowledge....
