Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can provide some insight before I get my car to the dealership. There's an odd 'clunking/knocking' sound coming from under the hood, and it's really noticeable when I'm doing about 30-40 (kilometers), and slowing down. I hadn't noticed this prior to today. No warning lights/error messages.

Ideas?

So, I picked up my car today, they said they can't recreate the sound on two seperate test drives (short ones), and can't find anything wrong with the car. 10 minutes out of the dealership (they're now closed at this point), and *bam!* the sound is back. The whole way home was a constant 'clunk-ka-clunk-ka-clunk' from what seems to be the front middle of the car. I'm calling back tomorrow to sked a first-thing-in-the-morning appt, and since the car won't be starting from cold, the sound should be nice and loud.

Anyone care to venture a guess on what this could be??
