MY A/C WAS WORKING GREAT ONE DAY AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THE "EC LIGHT " CAME ON AND NOW IT BLOWS HOT AIR ?????

I FIGURED MAYBE THAT THE CAR NEEDS THE SYSTEM RECHARGED SO I TOOK IT TO GET DONE ...BUT THE STUPED LIGHT STILL STAYS ON NOT LETTING THE COLD AIR CIRCULATE ..........CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE ?????????

 

you have to take it to the dealer to have the fault code deleted...or else EC light will always be "on" and the compressor won't work.

did they add more refrigirant 134a on it? if the refrigirant was fine, then you must replace the evaporator sensor.

 

I have a 2002 C320, the dash lights and radio shut down and the coolant fan come on high. the car will continue to run. I pull the key out and re insert the key, and everything come back on.
