2000 C230 Misfire
Okay a have a 2000 C230 kompressor. It has 171,000 miles on it. Been running strong for awhile. Recently had a maf sensor go bad. I replaced it. After that I started to receive a p0104. And it only comes up as cylinder 4. AND the only time it misfires is in quick acceleration. As soon as it misfire that cylinder shuts off and I have to reset the car to get a smooth idle back.
What do you guys think?
Ive never seen a spark plug go bad, especially just one. Plus I just replaced them about 30,000 miles ago? Probably less.
Coils are good since its only one cylinder right?
possible plug issue, and I'll switch and see if the error moves.
I've read things about compression, and I was curious if anyone could share about that.
Thanks

Crosby- You can get a compression check done on your motor. It will check the piston rings, intake and exhaust valves. Starting from the plugs, to wire harness, ignition coil is sound troubleshooting. I hope you find the root cause of the problem.
