It just happened recently when I notice my car might need a transmission fluid flush at 200k. I did it at 150k so maybe the car is getting old but I hope the transmission isn't malfunctioning. When I step on the gas pedal while driving on the freeway it won't go over 40 or 60 mph then the RPM revives up to 4 almost to redlining it. Therefore, I would have to pull over and restart the car which is fine afterward. Please help me!

Sounds like you may need a new fuel filter I had a similar problem with my 450 SLC. I changed the filter and all became right with the world again.

 

have check for codes . sounds like and air mass sensor or tranny slipping. it may need the transmission control unit replaced.
have it check for codes and transmission adaptation data. and go from there.
