I was wondering how to get the trunk open when the vacuum motor has quit. The wife noticed the door locks did not operate in the AM., while driving it and after checking more, the trunk and rear headrests will not work. To replace the vacuum I believe I will have to enter the trunk (pass. side rear).I can hear a click when trying to activate but that's about it.
You'd think that you could press the button in (trunk) to release it but that doesn't work either.

make sure your trunk is not locked by key first, then try to pop it, if not then you probably would have to reach the trunk by lowering the back seat.
