Default 1995 c220 looking for cd hookup

Hello, Im new to the forum and I would love some help. I have 1995 c220 in immaculate condition and I just purchased an Alpine 6 disc player with the MB adaptor. It says to hook up in the trunk but I cant seem to find where the connector is. I dont want to tear the whole trunk apart to find it. Can someone please let me know the general area to look for the hookup? That would be great. Thanks,
jimb

Are you sure your head unit is pre wired for a CD player? If so, the cables will be in the trunk, on the same side as the stock mounting area for the factory CD player under the carpet trim in the front of the trunk. Did Mercedes have fiber optic CD connections in 96?
