Hi All,

Has anyone had the issue, at a stop or driving the transmission goes into limp mode. The first time I was at a stop and the transmission went into limp mode for some reason. Called MB roadside assistance, and reset the issue with their help. I was told that the engine may think that the gas cap wasn't on tight enough.

Then about three days later, I was driving down the road, the gear indicators and the c/s indicator went blank. The car went back into limp mode but it was stuck in 3rd gear. Turn the car off, restarted engine then the car was fine.

I took the car to the dealership, they couldn't find the issue, re-flashed the software, said that nothing was wrong. I was about 10 miles down the road from the dealership, the gear indicators and the c/s indicator went blank.The car went into limp mode again but stuck in 7th gear, pulled off to the side of the road, turned off and on the engine then ran fine.

Just curious if someone has had the same issue and how was it fixed.
